If you want to access an MSC item that you do not know the shortcut to, or you want to access an MSC that is not otherwise accessible (such as the IPSec Monitor), then follow these steps:

Type in "mmc" in the run dialog box. Then go to File -> Add/Remove Snap-in -> Add... -> Select a snap-in.

You can add multiple snap-ins and then save the mmc for later.

gpedit.msc is used for Group Policy manipulation for domain environments. It's available on Windows 2000; Windows XP Professional; Windows Vista Business, Enterprise, and Ultimate; Windows 7 Professional and Ultimate; and Windows Server 2000, 2003, and 2008.

There's just no purpose for using gpedit.msc or lusrmgr.msc in home-based environments.

Since this comes up high on Google for "pacman remove orphans" I should point out that it's totally wrong. "pacman -Qe" gives you a list of all explicitly installed packages.

The correct command would probably be "pacman -Qtdq". See the Arch wiki.

Worked for me as well.

Where does the named daemon store the cache? I would like to update an A record that was updated and I don't want to wait for the update to come through a forwarder. How do I do this?
