The default search engine(the search engine which pops up when you select some words in a webpage and invoke search from the context menu) in Flock 0.4.10 is Yahoo!. Here is the procedure to change the default search engine for the ardent fans of google
Type in about:config in the address bar.
Then type in search in the Filter bar..
Modify the browser.search.defaultenginename property to Google. and then modify the browser.search.defaulturl to “http://www.google.com/search?lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=” without quotes.

In the Flock2 beta browser.search.defaulturl is now called keyword.URL
thanks for the tip. not being able to change this would have made me not use this browser
Hey thanks arun. and this was the first link in google when i searched for this topic. good work bro
I had to change keyword.URL…By the way, on Web Search tool (beside URL), all search engines are giving results from Germany like google.de and http://de.search.yahoo.com/. How do I change this to google.com and yahoo.com?
thanks.

Thanks! That fixed a minor annoyance on an otherwise cool browser.
